Description

My James Bond tribute would not be complete without the famous Aston Martin DB-5. I looked for one and found a freebie as a .3ds file. It didn't have any accessories and is a left hand drive instead of right hand drive as was seen in Goldfinger. The model had some problems with it and most were corrected. I chopped a hole in the roof to allow for an ejection seat and added tire slashers on the rear wheels as well as making front and rear pushbars. Oh yeah, machine guns and the bullet shield were added. New tires were put on because the original ones didn't have any treads. All mods were done in Anim8or. "Coldfinger" was a James Bond spoof I did ten years ago with human characters. It would be fun to do a Coldfinger story with animals, but... This small image size sucks and does nothing for the artwork. The original frames are each 1450 x 820 on a 1470 x 3340 panel. On a 39.5 inch screen, they look waaaaaaaaaaay better. :) Thanks to everyone who looks in and a special thanks to those who provide feedback, critical or non-critical. :) Sorry that I couldn't provide heraldic, epiphany type music when Bond was reacquainted with his DB-5... :) (Maybe in the animated feature)
