Description
I took this photo this summer of the day lilies in the front yard. Getting up this morning, there was two inches of surprise snow on the ground and the flowers are gone. This photo reminds me of the promise of spring.

Our grass doesn't appear to have stopped growing yet, so I'm looking forward to at least a few frosty days before spring arrives. I'm sure the weather will accommodate my wish! LOL! By the time the flowers start popping up, I'll be more than ready. :)
