Description

This Picture Store will soon be no more. The media era seems to shrink the clientele. But for me, these small shops are a oase. When I'm coming in the shop, I always find something falling out rarity. The owners run this business for 36 years and have helped me with their expertise and organizational skills a few times already.

What a great-looking shop! I really love the texture of the wood framing. It's a shame that technology is causing places like this to fade away. Price of progress.

What a shame.... Listen though...All this digital is all and good until something happens to the electricity that powers one to view it on a PC unlike if it was an actual "print' then electricity isn't a problem...shame that traditional paintings are fading and more people don't understand their significance... But as Seth stated ..."progress" is going to happen whether we except it or not... Love the view here and a picture in a picture window is really unique idea...This idea would sell big time here in the States! ~Smiles!~

I love this! It reminds me of my brother who has passed on a few years ago. He was an artist and a photographer, and he would have loved this image!

What a wonderful image. The old shop has so much character. But, as you know Sonja, all must make way for the Great God Progress. Probably to be replaced by some great concrete and glass edifice.

Like they say: "Everything old is new again" ... How many times have you heard Santayana's famous quote about those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it? BB
