when i was growing up, we didn't have a lot of money, so i used to sit and draw my army men on paper.
as the battles took place, i would cross out the men that died.
over the years i doodled alot, side views mainly of funny face characters!
i have been around computers since the 1980's, but n 2004, my older brother found an ibm lap-top computer
at a swap and shop for $30.00 and called and asked me if i wanted it. i said sure, so he brought it to me and
on the computer programs i found 'paint'. a simple program, but i jumped into the artist part of it gung-ho.
later i found another program, 'ultimate paint' and started working with that and later i found more programs that

so much, that i spend just about all my free time, enjoying and doing my art, my way

mourning is natural... and it helps keep the lost ones alive in our hearts. I will be mourning, reflecting and even going for a walk over to a tree I call "Johnny's Tree". Johnny was only in our life for a year, he came to stay with us so he could be close to his daughter. His X moved from Chicago to the Denver area to start a new life - after Johnny discovered when she was, he came to us. He was 37 - and had never signed a lease... he never took his X to court for visitation rights. He did both with our guidance. Come Dec. 16th it will be two years since his passing. He was my Wife's Cousin and he very much felt like Family to me. I miss him. so, ya see, I will always have a sense of mourning just before Christmas, but that's ok... I like keeping Johnny's spirit alive in my heart. as for your art, I'd title it: "A Wild Journey Into The Beyond"

We all handle and deal with what life deals us in our own way and though i find your message to be heart felt and comforting i would be doing an injustice to those i have lost over the years to not remember them in my own special way but don't go to the point of letting it interfere with those that are still amongst the living... Your latest work is so full of the colors of the season that it brought a smile to my face and i Thank You for that Rick....(Smiles)...

beautiful work and fine words. joy yes but i can feel no joy when i have to imagine all the fat suckesr sitting on their table with the golden spoons up thier ass, just figuring out how they can screw us even more once the holidays are gone by. yes and keep the memories alive.ute and me had some very heavy losses and we try to cope although i am mostly grinchy and indifferent about xmas. i try to be a good person all year long (and i fail often) not only for xmas.

I love your fractal, as I love the intention of your title and words, dear Rick. The colors are perfect for this dedication. I'm sure of the love that God has for all His children. A love bigger then we can imagine. I am also sure that God weeps with us, about all sorrow and suffering here on earth.
