Description
Well, I seem to have a knack for killing Poser lately, lol.
I started off trying to get that nice moist skin look I see so much, I didn't manage to figure it out either :) IDL may have something to do with it.
This scene, although not very complex, initially used SSS, IDL, and DOF. I managed to get 1 render 525 x 1050 to complete, thinking it was all good I increased the dimensions to 1500 x 2200 and waited 4 hours, only to look at the render in progress and see that only about 1 inch of image across the top was completed, lol that's insane!
Not sure why they would put all these features in a program if you can't use them together.... or if computers can't even handle it.
Anyway, I was good and pissed after being up all night, so I turned the computer off and went to bed.
this afternoon I decided to go old school, and just render the background and foreground separately and photoshop it all together.
Here she is, hope you like it :)
thanks for the views, comments and ratings :)

I've been finding shortcuts to reduce the render time in Bryce as well as sometimes after loading the objects just the way I like it and then render to see the time climb and wonder the same thing about why the length is so long and walk away to come back an hour later just to see it has barely moved...WTH?..I have plenty of Ram and Memory and get frustrated myself wondering why they make such a great program that drags so dang long when it come's to rendering..So I find ways to reduce by changing the textures to more user friendly but sometimes that even doesn't help....So I can relate to your frustrations...

Even without the wet skin, it's a great summer scene :-) I really like the dof and the background ... a beautiful work all together :-)
