So you've reached your golden anniversary? Mazel Tov! (Hebrew for congratulations) Never forget - growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. You have an exceptional talent for design. This is a wonderful image and belongs on a gallery wall. As for labels, I know this is a little dark but, considering the day's events, not surprising. Without labels who would we know who to hate?

50 is such a good number! Such a good age to be. Well, ANY age is a good age to be, except maybe 17, but that's a ramble for another time. As for labels... ...well...they serve a purpose. They're tools, but it's a fool that focuses on the tool and not the hand that uses it. Labels work incredibly well, but they're incomplete and are never the thing itself...we forget that too much, and we now use those tools to replace the things they name! As for this image: well! What can I say aside from the obvious: this is brilliant! I love the gentleness of it and the visual softness. The colors are so warm, and inviting, and I love the sensual feel of that upper part: it makes me think of glass or metal or something solid and smooth and incredibly fun to stroke. This is superb. As for turning 50. Have fun with it! Happy Birthday and 50 big ol' hugs from Chicago.
