Description
Modeled in 3dsmax. Rendered in Octane render.
Began as a Helicoid object while exploring minimal surfaces. Thought it would look interesting as an contemporary art style table, so added a base and set up a quick empty room to stage it. Parents warning: it's not child-safe. :)

You do such an amazing variety of 'objet d'art' /sculptures, whichever ? I am astounded at the creations you keep coming up with - the mind boggles! I would love to comment on every single one of them, (but time is of the essence here with me) they are all pure joy! - they are dramatic, bodacious, eclectic, stupendous and mesmerising and much, much more ... and what I don't understand, speaking of programmes, my son is helping me out. But that doesn't stop me from viewing them all - I like to quote here a line from Michelangelo: "I saw the angle trapped in stone and I set him free" - somehow these words reminds me of your work, John.
