Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive. All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Very good dedication.

I have to agree with you Mike. When I saw this tragedy on the news, I couldn't believe that someone could be so callous as to gun down innocent children & adults. I wonder what makes them decide to do these massacres. My heart goes out to all the families. xx

WOW! An absolutely BEAUTIFUL image a tribute Mike! Personally, I am always glad when the criminal offs themselves. Otherwise a ton of taxpayer money is wasted in a trial wherein some scumbag lawyer tries to get the criminal off on some stupid technicality and THEN MORE taxpayer money is wasted keeping sick bastards like that alive in prison - feeding them, clothing them, treating their illnesses, handling frivolous lawsuits, handling bids for parole and so an and so on. I'm GLAD he killed himself! I only wish he had done before killing anyone else.

Mike, Both of them will be tried in a higher court that they can't escape.

I agree with your thoughts about the dreadful and evil people who perpetrate such horrors upon the innocent.

Lovely dedi...
cricke49
a great pov for this horrendous incident, i agree with both sides, both that they offed themselves but for the conscience of the many to see the person stand trial and then put to death so the many can see! such darkness in your post, but well it should be!:(*5

marvelous tribute !! It's so tragic and atrocious!

Much agreed Mike. You said it like it is, and straight to the point. It's sickening truly, and really the way people deal with their own problems and turn their hate and hostility towards the innocent victims. He should of started with his own life instead. I just don't understand how one couldn't see that there was a potential mental problem prior to this. Obviously the kid had some kind of vendetta against the world, perhaps starting with his own folks. So sad, and even worse that justice can never be served at this point in time. A really sad, moody and beautiful depiction.

WONDERFUL TRIBUTE FOR THIS TRAGEDY

Amen. Beautiful photo and dedi, Mike.

The authorities have identified all the victims. The children were all six and seven years old. Some were shot as many as eleven times. This being the Christmas season the words 'massacre of the innocents' keeps running through my head. I'm too depressed to be angry right now, perhaps that will come later. We as a country refuse to take any action that would even begin to prevent these tragedies.

Beautiful Memorial. A sad thing to see such senseless acts in today's world, makes you wonder what it's all coming to.

Beautiful twilight shot, Mike. A very difficult and complex debate. My thoughts go to the parents who lost their kids, and to the kids that lost their parents. I think the problem is... Society... and the tendencies in society. If people get into trouble in their lives... They are almost on their own..no one care or do anything.. Until it is too late. The fact that we as the human race no longer talk about, us. But about, me. Most humans of today care about themselves, not about society. As long as things are nice in their own little garden...they are happy. They do not give a BEEEEP if the world burns down to the ground... And that is what the world does... it burns. The focus should be to build societies that are good for all humans to live in. Not only societies that are good for the few. I bet that shooter guy...have yelled for help, for a long time... But no one listened to him... but now... they will listen.. A shame that no one listened to him, before the incident. Because the incident might have been prevented. My thoughts anyway.

So many people world wide the feelings of horror at this tragedy

Thank you dear Mark for making this statement (or how I have to call it). It's 'heaven-crying', what happened there, and still we are shocked very much too. I agree with you in all ways. So very hard for the parents and family. It is Satan who used such a killer (or makes this human a killer). Now all victims (Children of God) are in the arms of our heavenly Father. Perhaps this can be a comfort.

cowards... a work of bravery would have been to take their lives before they did such an evil act... strong message with a beautiful image!

Why do they have to kill others if they are going to kill themselves in the end, why not just kill yourself and leave everyone else. The only statement they are leaving by doing this is they are pathetic a**holes scum and nobody ever thinks they had just cause in doing what they did in killing innocent children and teachers..

A very poignant dedication, Mike. My deepest condolences to everyone in Newtown. When six- and seven-year-old children are gunned down like animals, just where as a society are we heading?

A most fitting image.
