Description
You may remember me posting some photos of the Polly Woodside recently in dry dock. She was having some work done to her hull. Well when I passed her today I noticed that the dry dock was now......errr WET! It was full of water once again. Best viewed zoomed. My apologies for missing the top of the mast. I had to shoot this through a small hole in the fence today and this was the widest lens I had with me! I wanted to show you guys the water in the dry dock more than anything else!
Many members last time mentioned how much they would have loved to climb up these masts in their 'younger' days! Did they realize that these masts are higher than 10 storey buildings! Seriously! In the 1800's, she was one of the nastiest and meanest ships in the world to work on. Countless young sailors (children) were killed after falling from her rigging. They were sent up there out on the open oceans by officers and crew who were often murderers themselves who had been taken directly from prison.

A super POV with water and I would never have guessed 10 stories high. A breathtaking view!
