Description

A poorly girl, sweet Meadow isn't well at all. Haven't a clue what the matter is, seen Mike twice now & we are no nearer to knowing what she has got. It started Thursday, she went training as always & was ok until I took her outside & a big bang went off, so she then just wanted to lay down. She went swimming & was taking treats from Rod but when she got in the water we noticed she was miserable, not thinking much of it she had a swim & swam strong but then I noticed her eyes were funny, so we got her out, I dried her, she lay by me but she was still taking treats & walking about. When I got home I noticed again her eyes, the third eyelid kept coming over. So I booked her into see Mike, he hadn't a clue what was up, her temperature was slightly raised but her face was odd. If I didn't know better I would have thought she had had a stroke. Mike gave her an injection to relax her & something for pain. The next morning she was back to see him, as there was no change, (she was eating but Mr. Bucks food) also I was worried as when she went for a drink she just stood over the bowl & it was as if she couldn't drink. Mike took bloods, which are all fine, nothing showed up at all. He said to see how she was over the weekend. When I got home I syringed water into her mouth but then she got up & did drink but very noisily, as is the same when she is eating. I stayed down with her last night, (Dave had the night before) & she did sleep, she is the same this morning, she has eaten Mr. Bucks food again, won't have treats of any kind :o( Always greets anyone who comes in the room but then goes & lies down. JB barked in the middle of the night & Meadow joined her. So it is a complete mystery. It is so unlike Meadow to be ill but we are keeping a close eye on her. I will keep you all posted. oh Barb, this is not good. I will be keeping sweet Meadow in my prayers, and also her veterinarian and you. I hope this passes quickly and uneventfully and doesn't come back. a beautiful picture is her.

Hope Meadow is doing better than she was at the time of the post, my Friend. It's so worrisome and leaves one feeling helpless when we don't know what to do to make our loved ones feel better. Keep up posted, and she will be in my prayers. Hugs,
