when i was growing up, we didn't have a lot of money, so i used to sit and draw my army men on paper.
as the battles took place, i would cross out the men that died.
over the years i doodled alot, side views mainly of funny face characters!
i have been around computers since the 1980's, but n 2004, my older brother found an ibm lap-top computer
at a swap and shop for $30.00 and called and asked me if i wanted it. i said sure, so he brought it to me and
on the computer programs i found 'paint'. a simple program, but i jumped into the artist part of it gung-ho.
later i found another program, 'ultimate paint' and started working with that and later i found more programs that
started my ideas of digital art into place. last summer i threw myself head first into my art,
so much, that i spend just about all my free time, enjoying and doing my art, my way

it's time we start cracking down on psychos like this... I saw a picture of Charles Manson the other day.... Imagine how much it costs us to keep him alive... He's been in jail my whole life...why don't we build a giant concrete bowl and send these guys down the edge of the bowl on a skateboard.... we say good bye to them and that's that.... for entertainment, people can pay 20 dallars a month to watch these mass murderers go up against each other... They're not fed by us, so if they want to eat, it's call cannibalism!

Just stopping in to show support and not going to go into another lengthy rant that serves no other purpose but to vent my frustrations...Senseless tragedy that makes no sense at all...Wishing for the day we go back to rocks and sticks.... Your image above for what it's worth Rick gives me comfort when viewing in zoom...(smiles)...

it will be difficult for years to deal with Rick, mostly for that small once peaceful town. i have tears, i have anger. i feel loss even though none of them i knew. and how do you determine who is crazy enough to do crap like this and do something about it. this will be the saddest christmas ever for me.

WONDERFUL TRIBUTE FOR THIS TRAGEDY

I am saddened by all of this, it is unbelievable that this could have happened, but it did and my heart goes out to those poor innocents and their families. hugs Jane xx

There are no words left to add to this Rick. We can only hope that someday the human race will reach extinction and a different race that does not worship guns and violence can replace this messed up lot.

Things need to change, I don't know what else to say & cannot re-hash the horror of this tragedy, either =*( just so very saddening~ Thank you for this post, my friend, and your words as well.

Excellent image rick I just feel so sad for the Almighty coz he's gonna have to explain it someday I wonder how he will justify the allowing of that and many other atrocities?

Like others who have posted, I have no more words left about yesterday's atrocity, just tears and anger. Beautiful image!

Makes you wonder what this world is coming to.

It's hard to not say what I am feeling. Lets just say I will be posting an ass-smoker soon for those I feel are culpable in their willing contribution to lethal insanity. For now, I'm with you friend. I think Angels come at times like these when all we can do for this moment is weep.

I agree Rick, this event haunts us all. I have several grandchildren and even great grandchildren of school age. It is a frightening thought that, but for the Grace of God.... When is this madness going to end? How long must we be terrorized by our home grown lunatics? The final ENOUGH!! has, I hope, been sounded. I have lived to see, what I thought I would never see,the demoralization of the American People. We are being taken down, and by what? Frightening shadows that gnaw at the very core of our souls. Even our innocent young are not exempt-- we all must voice our resentment and seek to bring back the inherent decency that once graced this beautiful land of ours. I have close friends whose roots go back to the American Revolution, and they say that they must be turning in their graves over what has happened to the Light of the World!

it hurts and there are no words to express the anger and pain. my thoughts are with the families and they will be in my thoughts for a very long time to come.

~ I'm speachless and so sad..... The 'gun nuts' have such a 'strong lobby' that anyone that dares to call for gun control gets instantly shut down!

Fantastic work.

beautiful image, the tragedy of yesterday is something that is very sad,the evil part of humanity as surged suddenly and claim existance, the constant battle of good and bad, by this tragedy we have a reminder that we sould get our good side togetter and discard the evil side there is in each one of us

I don't know how anyone could kill little kids. Just horrible.
vxbob
It makes no sense. I walked to school alone or with friends from kindergarten on. That sense of freedom seems to have gone, and things don't make sense.
RubyT
Beautiful image for this moving tribute. It's time for gun control and I do not care who likes that statement. 20 children, little children. So senseless!

The image actually is too beautiful for that idiot. But it has to be said how crazy this world has become. The devil can actually spur people into killers. Without Conscience. Here we are shocked too.
