26 lives taken; 20 children ages 6-7-years-old!
6 school adults.
And the mother of the shooter is dead at her son's hands.
20 children, small children, very young, 6-7 only in years. 20!
We will never know why. Moreover, I would never ever be able to understand why. There is no reason for this to happen and there should be no way for this to happen.
This has to stop. I have always been fine with the constitutional right to own guns to defends one's home but it's time to end this senseless culture of guns and violence here in America. It's become like a plague.

one of the saddest days in american history i think Ruby, i had to turn the channel after the first little child a girl they showed died. it was just heartbreaking and will be for a very long time for many. im not a gun lover or owner, and guns are fine for the right minded citizen. another beautiful and thoughtful tribute. Happy Holidays..

this is a beautiful, touching dedi for all those souls senselessly murdered in CT. and i have to disagree with dawn and dennis...mentally disturbed people with access to guns are what kill...these killers are not necessarily evil, they are miserable, lost individuals who feel they have no where to turn. greedy gun manufacturers are also complicit in these murders...the NRA should be held responsible and well as their handmaidens, the spineless, weak brained members of our Congress--and let us not overlook that many of the most seemingly religious people are some of the most nasty, hypocritical, racist people one might encounter--they hide their true natures behind their pseudo religiosity...let's not make religion the overarching response and cure...rather, it is clear, honest thinking and discussion that are correct steps to solving the "gun" problem the US.

very sad tragedy,but every one seem to forget the main function of guns is to kill,humaty has invented guns and weapons,if you purchase a gun you are willing to kill if you have to[even to defend yourself].of course it pays more to produce weapons than to invest in research for incurable illness,or help some people that are poor and homeless.if your kidds died from cancer are you going to claim they were murdered by evil. lets face it ,we have to force goverments to ban fire arms ,regardless the country, and use money to do goods

Don't blame the weapons, blame the lack of education and moral values, after all, is not something good to make wars, invade countries, "nuke 'em", promote assassinations, bomb schools aka "collateral damage" or "human shields", kill, kill, kill and kill and more kill. What you give is what you receive.

We don't need automatic weapons in society... people that love guns always say what if we get invaded? ok.... here is the solution. Army Surplus stores now have a storage vault for each city. Gun owners are to store their "big" guns there and if there is ever an invasion, gun owners will be allowed their guns... until then, be happy with your rifle, shotgun and pistol - we don't need anything in public that can shoot off 30 bullets in seconds - that's just INSANE!!!!!
