Description
Cyclos (pedicabs) are a good, cheap way to see the city of Saigon, as long as one doesn't get ripped off. These cyclos are slowly being faced out as part of a modernization process of the public transportation system - and no new registrations are issued. Cyclos are restricted from many busy roads, and one has to get used to the idea that everyone around a cyclo is faster.
We took these cyclos from the hotel to the War Crimes Museum, renamed from 'Museum of American War Crimes', to appease American tourists.
During our visit to the museum it started to rain, one of those monsoon rains, frequent during the summer months in Saigon . The cyclos were prepared, just put the roof up for the passenger. Here they are waiting on Vo Van Tan Street opposite the museum.

reminds me of the Philippines but there they are motor bikes. dry weather would make the experience better

Great capture of this eco friendly vehicles. They produce no exhaust gas. It would be a shame if they would disappear.
