Description

Here is a wider angle of this scene showing more of the urban area as well as the overall size of the fire. I built the city scene in 2010 and added the fire recently. This was rendered in Bryce5 and touched up in CorelDraw GSX5. I don't like Bryce7 as much as Bryce5 because it uses 3times the memory Bryce5 does just to run, and I need all the memory I can get for the scenes I create. I'll open a scene I created in Bryce5 into Bryce7 and it will crash due to lack of memory, ON THE SAME COMPUTER... Very disappointing. Model credits are still in research mode. This will be updated as information is obtained and verified. Thanks for your patience. -Vernon

Very cool! I love the way the light from the fire is reflected from the billowing clouds of smoke. That looks fantastic!

Fantastic! Now you can see the glow on the buildings and surroundings better. Still love that fire/smook! Corrie

As I try and find a balance between what is on my table of priorities this week I will visit your galleries all this week with this "Prerecorded Comment" I apologize but want to be both here with my friends and fellow artist as well as all that I have on my plate here at home.So from now until Christmas this is the only way I can do both fairly and equally.Hope you can understand and afterwards will be back with comments directed especially for "YOU" and the art you have created and decided to share once Christmas has passed.. May your Christmas be Merry and Peace On Earth and Good Will To All! Merry Christmas And Seasons Greetings from Me and My Family to You and Yours! ~Will~

Interesting Bryce observation - as always with computers, one step forward usually means two steps back. Still using Bryce5 with WinXP Pro. Hate Win7. At any rate, stunningly dramatic scene with top-notch blast/fire effects. Congrats!!
