Description


Breaking up strata with displacements can be a fiddly business. Adjusting the Gradient Patch Size of the Compute Terrain shader is an important element that affects how the displacements turn out.

Yes, I see what you mean. There's a few areas that have some odd-looking displacements. I've experienced that myself and not sure what to do about it. I like the way the strata does not bleed onto the "level" ground and those overhangs look darn good, John! My opinion of the Strata / Overhang shader is that it is very clunky. You either have too much effect or not enough. But good work and keep on keepin' on!
