Description

Modeled entirely in 3dsmax. Rendered in Luxrender. A combination of renderable splines and some mathematically-driven Maxscript formula. The shape is derived from several geospheres linked together mathematically, and the edges extracted, and converted to renderable splines. It's a spline-based replica of a 24-cell truncated polyhedra object in 4D space.

The DOF really empathises the depth of this render, it reminds me of watching glass-blowers at work - but to create something like this, you would need the hands of a micro-surgeon ... impressive result, BB
