Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Nice shot. I really like the softness and curve of the grass. Ideal lighting.

Great dof, and the softness of the waving grass is lovely! Love the light, love the subject matter. Beautiful!

Lovely! I'm sure I remember a photo of yours which was a close up of marram grass and looked like an old man's head. The light in this shot makes me smell the sea.

I also like the light very much, as well as the slight blur on the grass, which gives it a feeling of both softness & motion...

Oooooh! It looks like camel hair. Is there such a thing as camel hair grass? I love the shape and the nice curve the grass takes. The light is wonderful and gives the grass that "baked with butter" color that camel hair also takes on. This is superb. I'd love to walk around there, just listening to the sounds and looking at stuff. This is great!

Very fluffy grass indeed.

Looks like the wind is blowing the grass into a lovely curve; great shot!

Can't fool me! That's beige ocean waves over textured black water. Your new Foogee camera came through with flying colors in this fine foto, Maz!

A like the wind blown look of both the sand and the grass.
