My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Such a strong tree: an excellent place for whoever might decide (or might have decided) to build a home in that hole. I like the sinuous shape of this tree, the smoothness of its skin, as it has that wonderful habit of shedding its bark. The colors are so serene and restful and that tangle just makes me want to explore it: in a rainy place, a tangle like that makes the most wonderful whispering sound as it drips-drips-drips into fallen leaves. I love that sound, that "bushy rain" sound that you can only get from rain falling through tangled plant stuff. This is brilliant, and--for me--quite evocative. Yep. This rocks.

Superb shot here, Tara. An interesting hole in the branch and a beautiful fence in the background :)

It really is a tangle of branches and twigs. I guess it will look beautiful when all the leaves have come out.
