Description

A photo for all who are interested technically. This is an electric motor of the French car manufacturer "Renault" in a "Renault Fluence ZE". With one battery charge it can drive about 180 kilometers (~112 miles), then the battery needs to be recharged. The car has 95 PS (~69,87 kW / 93,70 hp), it can run 135 km/h (84 miles/h) fast and is almost silent. I think the range should be improved, but it is a step into the future. Took the photo in the summer at a car show with my old Nikon. Thanks for viewing.

Interesting shot and great information! Electric and Hybrid cars are very popular in this area, there are even charging stations located across the state next to the Interstate highways at strategic points. The state of Tennessee is almost 400 miles across and 200 miles wide, they drove an electric car (not sure which brand) from end to end with no problem, charging 3 times I think. In town there are more and more of the little cars named "Smart" (http://www.smart.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/smart-content-Site/-/-/-/Default-Start/). So cute to see!

Wir haben hier in Berlin schon einige Strom-Tankstellen auf den Straßen. Ist eine interessante Überlegung. Ich habe mich mal mit einem unterhalten (also nicht mit dem Hybriden LOL, sondern mit dem Fahrer). Auftanken dauert bei ihm 20 min. In der Zeit kann einkaufen gehen. Mit voller Batterie fährt er bis 300km. (Frag mich aber jetzt nicht nach dem Modell, denn da bin ich so richtig Blond.) Und sie sind wirklich fast lautlos!!
