I like the way the darkness dominates so much of this image, making the color stand out that much more. The darkness isn't dull, though; it has shapes and textures and a wonderful sensuality to it. The eye gets to stroke those curves and ride along the edges of those shadows and then splash! There's this burst of color but it's not dead center, which makes it all the more effective. Yeah, this is a brilliant shot.
