Now that is one amazing piece of work! There is a beautiful, slightly shredded leading line that perfectly weaves itself from lower left to upper right. That is classic and sets a great backbone to the composition. The low camera angle is a classic one to add intrigue to landscapes. The lantern is perfectly set and gives an unseen human presence, an explorer, and yet it begs a question...where are they? There is a lovely falloff in clarity as the subtle mistiness adds to the spookiness of the habitat. This is an amazing work. It is a unique view using many classical elements of landscape composition. Masterfull is well deserved here.
