Il Vittoriale degli Italiani non Ã¨ solo la stupefacente casa di Gabriele d'Annunzio, costruita a Gardone Riviera sulle rive del lago di Garda dal poeta-soldato con l'aiuto dell'architetto Giancarlo Maroni, ma un complesso di edifici, vie, piazze, un teatro all'aperto, giardini e corsi d'acqua eretto tra il 1921 e il 1938 a memoria della sua "vita inimitabile" e delle imprese degli italiani durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale. The Vittoriale degli Italiani is not only the amazing house of Gabriele D'Annunzio, built in Gardone Riviera on the shores of lake Garda, the poet-soldier with the help of the architect Giancarlo Maroni, but a complex of buildings, streets, squares, an outdoor theater, gardens and waterways built between 1921 and 1938 in memory of his "incomparable life 'and military actions of Italians during World War I.
