Description
Modeled in 3dsmax. Rendered in LuxRender (v1.0RC4).
Created in 3dsmax using Mathsurf 2 plugin. Added shell modifier for thickness, and sent it out to Luxrender for rendering. Some post production on the color levels here, but that's about all.

It reminds me somehow of the Middle ages, when Kings and Queens used to wear those stiff collars ;) but it has more of a speckled pottery glaze feel to it, which would make it even stiffer and quite uncomfortable to wear - LOL the lighting is superb ... BB
