This does rather underline the absurdity of some of these rules. A few year back I had a picture of cupid pulled as the nude cherub was not allowed. Now you can go in most public places around Europe in churches and stately homes and see such things but to modern tastes it has become disallowed. I think we have become too sensitive to such things. The reason I would want to put cherubs in my pictures has nothing to do with paedophilia but a wish to duplicate the medieval masterworks.
