Description
I made a collage of the back of the trailer and the front of the trailer. If you look closely in the bottom picture you can see the back of the semi-tractor that was towing the trailer. The Highway Patrol transportation guys had just finished weighing the front part of the trailer and were moving the strain gauges to the back trailer. They would lay the flat part of the strain gauges in front of the wheels and the driver would very carefully move forward placing the tires on the strain gauges.
Enjoy! Thanks for all the previous comments, ratings and favorites.

Thank you for sharing this. I am really curious what these hydraulics.

I forgot to mention that the part of the trailer that carries the load does not have any wheels under it. The load floats a few inches above the ground. They must use hydraulics to dloat the load. Even when they moved forward to move onto the strain guages which were only an inch or two thick, you could see the huge load slowy floating up and down.
