Description

This image shows just how I feel....Out of sorts and slightly sedated by medication! lol It has taken me a whole week, to try to get this altogether and I just cannot make my mind up about it. Just to let everyone know, I had a titanium pin removed from my left femur, which had broken after a fall, two years ago. The end of the pin moved and was poking my buttock causing acute pain to my lower back and hip(Now thankfully, all gone) I am having the steri strips removed together with a dressing change on the 27 December and a course of physio, next day on the 28th. The pain has been excruciating at times, although it was well masked, by a Narcotic, called tramazol. Combined with Codeine and Paracetamol, I was pain free at times, but once that four hours was up, boy did I know about it! lol I only take tramadol at night now, which helps me sleep and I am not reliant on my crutches in the house. I manage to take hops and then grab hold of the nearest door or wall! lol The pain from my back has totally disappeared! I should have no further problem standing at terminals for long periods, where previously, I was unable to maintain a standing position, for more than 20 minutes, without some considerable discomfort. Special thanks go to Vyktohria, who sent me a splendid Christmas gift, Kristy. She's really beautiful Victoria. Thank you! I'd like to thank my good lady Wife Cathy, who has been so sensitive with my after care. I am going to treat her to some really lazy weekends, after this leg bucks up! lol I don't know how I would have managed without her at times. Thank you to everyone who has been asking after me. I will write back to each one of you individually, once I can sit for longer periods. Steve ;)

lol... shouldn't you be treating her to lazy weekends now??? I mean, what else can you do? Sex right now is probably not in the question.... I read this week on the net a Ulimate Fighter "broke" his penis - lol now, there are no bones in a boner, so how'd he do it? his girlfriend jumped down on it and it snapped - OUCH - i DIDN'T know you could break a penis - but you can - lol so, do the lazy thing now, you can do the active thing later - lol

Hallo Steve, In the first place: I wish you a soon and complete as possible recovery. I think with the good care of your beloved Cathy it had to be possible. Honestly , I didn't know of your medical problems otherwise I had asking sometimes how was your situation. Happily you are at home now. just before Christmas and new year. Second Thanks for this beautiful artwork, you shared. Third: I wish you, your wife and family and all good friends a splendid and peaceful Christmas and a healthy New Year with much creativity. Frans

I am glad that you are progressing well. a brother-in-law of mine had a huge metal brace placed on his spine many years back and it was killing him. a new doctor removed and said it should have never been installed. I could not believe just how large the screws were very beautiful art work. Merry Christmas
