Description

There is just something HOT about a drummer chick! Getting more familiar with VRAY 2. Wanted to play around with the volume lights features. Edit: Took the advice of LuxXeon and did a little retouching and defocus. Also corrected a few minor mistakes that I found. Enjoy!

I really like the architecture of the background scene. Great modeling on the drums too, and of course the character. Lighting looks good. I think if you incorporate some of the lens effects of a camera, like glare, light flares and streaks, as you have done in this image, then perhaps a touch of DOF will also help to add that extra "something" to the realism. Nothing too tight, just a little de-focus of the far plane. Great render.

What's even hotter, is to put two drum kits nose to nose and metalize in rhythm with a chick...I found myself with an extra drumstick for some reason! :-) Nice work and a great idea! Rock on!
