Reached for comment concerning the non-event of the so-called "2012 Mayan Apocalypse", Lady Lara Croft of Abingdon, noted cypto-archaeologist and fanboy favorite, stated from the depths of the Tomb of Xylitol in southern Chiapas State, Mexico, the following:
"Come now, dear. The Maya have already had their apocalypse some time ago. Don't you imagine our civilization is capable of having its own?
Now, if you will excuse me, just ahead is a trapped-filled sunken room I believe to contain a fabled artifact, the Pyramid of Lucite, which legend claims has the amazing properties of keeping cheap razor blades forever sharp....Good day."
