Description

Honoring 20 little kids gunned down before their life journies were hardly underway. Honoring the 6 grownups who tried to protect them and were gunned down in their life journies. A mom who was trying hard to do what she thought was right by her mentally ill son and perhaps interrupt his horrific life ending journey. Well, the NRA has spoken. LOL But I did agree with one thing and that is the securing of our schools by having security guards present. We had them in schools when I was growing up. But the NRA wants Congress to fund this. Really? How about the NRA fund this program as our country is in bad shape financially. But alas, the republicans will probably approve that since their plan is to cut any program that feeds the hungry, houses the homeless, cares for our sick and poor, seniors, and any other program to help those who need help. Oh I know, instead of cutting education funding, perhaps go halvsies with the NRA. I'm just sayin. BUT I'm still for banning of assault type weapons. All of them. I'm still for banning extended round clips. I'm still and even more so for making a gun permit application for gun ownership to the police department to include a psyche eval PRIOR to even getting to own a gun. This would include private sales, gunshow sales, or any other sales or trades of guns and ammo. I'm still for one permit per one gun. I'm still for no weapons being traded, bought or sold on the internet, including no ammo purchases either, NONE at all whatsoever not even on ebay or other forms of internet sales and/or trading. I'm counting on Joe Biden, VP and his committe to handle this and do what needs to be done. We can never let this be forgotten.

We don't need Machine guns on the street... People are still going to go whacko and kill others, nothing you can do about that, but you can control how many pullets come out of a gun.

Hearing about those kids and the others had to have been the worst news I ever heard... What else is sad though is the idea that people honestly believe that banning things will actually stop this kind of madness. If a madman should suddenly appear in front of you with a gun, try holding up a few pages of legislation and see where that gets you.

100% in agreement with you about guns. The image itself is exceedingly powerful, but your words make it even more so.

Very true I agree that we don't need the assault weapons in anyone's hands except the military. Very powerful message now if only the Republicans would just listen to the people

What a sad thing! I was wondering for a long time when this madness ends with the guns finally. Have been expected for school children in going to school with the death? A beautiful picture and a real thought!
