12.21.12 the End of the Mayan Calendar - DOOMSDAY
I remember being around 7 years old and seeing a coin with this design on it. It was my Aunts and she told me it Told Predictions and it was always right... and the End of the World was suppose to be today.... I think the Mayan's were thinking of the "Fiscal Cliff"... anyway, Ooga, a Mayan is hear to help you over the cliff - Trust Her... and when it's scary, don't look down.

LOL! Couldn't quite make out all the funnies at the bottom. One I had seen before and so know what it says. Yep, fiscal cliff ... I hope all the stupid politicians in this country fall off of it. Then perhaps we can start over with honest people who really care about America those they govern.

Bloody world did end mate... last week I canceled my mortgage repayments, told the postie girl not to leave any mail with windows in the envelope and I didn't buy any cat food for Wilbur. Worst thing... the bloody cat has gone spastic now, started chewing on my computer cords... yup... without cat food, the world certainly ended around here!

A wonderful image with Ooga and the Mayan forcast. I'm glad it proved to be wrong as I would miss RR so much. I'm afraid I couldn't read all of the strip at the bottom but I got the gist of it and of course the 'fiscal cliff' is the next big one. Superb work with the posing and the dialogue and I hope you have a happy christmas too.

loved the cartoons at the bottom. Is Ooga offering me her hand to help across the abyss that lies at the foot of the fiscal cliff? I'm not sure I trust her, she has a lean and hungry look about her!! cool and marvelous image!!

Great job on Ooga. Great background for this too. The Mayan calendar does not end it is merely a start over for the next cycle, like one's odometer reaching 99,999 and turning to 00,000. And while it cannot predict the end of the world, it does foretell the motions of our planet in relation to the Sun and galaxy quite accurately. I think that's pretty cool for an ancient group of people.
