Description

A picture of my dog Rusty and my cat Monster. Rusty was a wild dog when she came to us in 96 and Monster was a feral cat whom we rescued in 2003 or so. The are on my bed. I had to put Rusty down this past summer. All the cats loved her and we had one feral cat that used to follow her when we went for walks. I copied and pasted the image several times in Corel Photopaint and applied various filters and object blend modes to each before flattening and saving to try and achieve a more illustrative quality.

This is so beautiful Dan! So very peaceful and loving, as they relax with sweet dreams. Stunning texture and composition. It saddens me about Rusty... I do understand, as you already are aware. We have such a close bond with our animals, and when it's time to let go, it's the most difficult thing in the world. Anyhow, a really beautifully composed image and memory of Rusty.

beautiful dog and cat. I had a pitbull/lab mix that I took in from the street and she made such a wonderful dog. one of the big things was that she would not bark. she was so muscular as a puppy that maybe her "bark box" was constricted. it never prevented her from eating. I had to watch her so the other male dog could eat his food. he would just walk away and let her have it she was like a dog version of Chyna that use to wrestle sorry you had to put her down. I had to put mine down also as she was unable to walk. at 80 pounds she was hard to carry, especially to lift her out of her dog house
