This is such a beautifully composed artwork and a lovely dedication, my friend. I particularly like how you have so artfully contrasted the dark colors (representing our sorrow and loss), with the bright hues of the butterflies (representing hope and new birth). Especially poignant are the rippled time effects of the clock, to remind us how tenuous our grasp on life really is, how it is not actually in our control, but rather in the hands and plan of our Creator. The flowers are an ever-lovely memorial to the joys of happy memories held dear in the hearts of those remaining, and the water reflects so well the way our Lord Jesus can wash away the stains of sin and pain to create within us new hearts. All in all, a truly masterful image and one of the best dedications I have seen.
