Description

Every time I hear the song, it reminds me of when I was kid, long ago. Some of you may have heard the song "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" written by John Rox and sung by Gayla Peevey. In 1953 she was ten when the song was performed. In one verse, she specifically mentions "no crocodiles or rhinoceroseses", then "I only like hippopotamuseses"... and so the song went on. A Detroit promoter presented Gayla with a real hippopotamus on Christmas which she donated to the city zoo. The hippo lived for nearly 50 years ! Doesn't that just make you want to smile? Well, looks like Santa got his wires crossed and delivered what she didn't want. :O) Connie North makes a rare appearance as her younger self. She was a Britta body with a head from a different character probably from 2005. Hippo was a freebie from 3D Universe so long ago LoRes Girl as a doll - from 3D Universe methinks... The "crocodile" is just the DAZ dragon's tail sticking out of the box. Close enough. Xmas tree was a freebie from somewhere long ago. Gift boxes - PoserPros Xmas2007 giveaway. Mountain bike from who knows where. Site is probably dead anyway. Sofa and chair also from somewhere. Merry Christmas to all !
