Description

In the UK, we have been experiencing the wettest six months for many years and two or three times recently, the Thames has just spilled over the bank in my area. Flood-wise, we have been quite lucky where I live with nothing major. At the end of November, though, while the river was just lapping over its bank and the normally placid Thames was racing along downstream, I was lucky to see the beginnings of a lovely sunrise. It just goes to show that nature, whilst cruel, can also be enchanting. I wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas. ------------------------------------------ Original Photograph 29 Nov 2012
