Description
Formerly Ingleby Road, South Derbyshire, now part of the River Trent. Taken on a cycle ride today.
A reminder that there are always people worse off than yourself, whatever your troubles. I'm glad I live at the top of a hill....
Thoughts are with anyone affected by the current floods...
Merry Christmas to all,
~Steve~

Its got a bit of an ethereal quality to it. Just hoping that Old father Thames doesn't come visiting me. My heart certainly goes out to those affected. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Steve! Martin

Oh my. That is a LOT of water in the wrong place! Still, it's stunningly beautiful. Such still water and perfect reflections. Beautiful! I'm sure the people who live around there will be glad to see it gone.

That's wild. Proper shoulders on the side of the road wood prevent water from ponding. haha, ok enough engineering for me. Nice picture. I like teh reflections.

Not sure 2012 has a shallow end. Perhaps it had a shallow beginning when there was a hose pipe ban back in March. Seasons Greetings and a Happy New Year :-)
