I think the surface should vary more, depending on height and slope. A special design for the shoreline would give more realism. For a calm lake there is too much foam, I think. And last, for me Terragen's 3D clouds don't look very real, more like candyfloss than clouds. ;) But nonetheless, I think this is one of your better works. (I know, expressing critique is exotic. But I try to be constructive.)

Wonderful landscape Corrie. Torteg's comments this time sound like they would be helpful. Offering suggestions on how to learn and improve is always a good thing. That is much better than the time he just said rude things about your image and offered no suggestions about how to fix what he didnt like. I love your terragen images.

Considering you're using the Classic free version this is good work. I like the terrain you've generated, of course more use of slope and altitude constraints will further enhance your scene. It was quite stormy here overnight. My old house hates wind, so I hate wind.

Nice TG work Corrie, reminds me of Hueco Tanks, not far from where I live. An enormous Pile of Boulders dropped in the middle of the Desert, they hold water when it Rains, which means they have water maybe twice a year. Peace

Awesome landscape and mountain view. The colors and textures are amazing. The pool of water is a wonderful addition. Sure hope your wishes come true Corrie. We are in a deep freeze here. Rain would be just wrong.....LOL.
