Description
Annelies Marie Frank shortened, called Anne Frank (born 12 June 1929 in Frankfurt am Main, † early March 1945 in Bergen Belsen) was a Jewish German girl who emigrated in 1934 with his parents in the Netherlands,
to persecution by the Nazis to escape, and just before the end of the war the Nazi genocide, fell victim. Previously, she had kept herself and her family hid in a secret annexe in Amsterdam, where she wrote down her experiences and thoughts in a diary.
The published after the war by her father Otto Frank Diary of Anne Frank is considered a historical document from the time of the Holocaust and the author as a symbol for all the victims of the extermination policy of the Nazi era.

We must remember what men can do in the dark hours. Beautiful tribute to the memory of Anne Frank and other dead people in concentration camps.

A very moving tribute to Anne lightened somewhat by the sign for grilled sandwiches. I visited the house in Amsterdam. You can still see the pictures she cut from magazines and pasted on the wall of her bedroom. She wanted to be a journalist. Can you imagine what a fearless writer she might have been?

A tragic story (one of millions who died at the hands of the Nazis, including my grandmother), but a fine tribute & photo...

That is just outstanding to me, and particularly the artist's style! The image and story of course is burned into my memory forever as just one tragedy among so many others that will never be known, but at least one tale was told for the world to possess in perpetuity. Great photo Juli!
