Description
Like many here I suspect, I grew up with Gerry Anderson's visions of the future.
My personal favourites were Thunderbirds and UFO.
So this is my small tribute to the man who's creations filled my childhood and yes I still watch them on dvd today :)
My favourite of this show is Thunderbird 2 but I thought i'd do Thunderbird 5 as it's often overlooked.
Thanks to Gerry Anderson.

Was part of my Saturday morning Cartoon ritual ...To a 6 year old this was state of the art cartooning and let's not forget Jonny Quest! A grand tribute!! ~smiles~

Cool.... So bloody cool mate! I'm so jealous of it! A great tribute to a fine man.. My most vivid memory of Thunderbirds was being taken to the Cinema in London to see 'Thunderbirds Are Go!' It was FANTASTIC, to a 5 year old! Burned forever in my mind! Never left it, the love for all things Gerry is still there.. Even looking up the films he made, (Journey to the Far Side of the Sun?), yep he did that... He even wrote a Bond script, that was never used as were so many... Well done Mike.. Rob

Now that's special...one of the best TB5 pics I've ever seen...excellent tribute to the man...Just to lower the tone for a moment, I've often wondered if Gerry had a twinkle in his eye when he came up with the docking procedure for TB3 and TB5 ?....This ones a keeper mate...

One must never forget "Super Car" or "Fireball XL5" which were other creations of his and some of the few that were available on American Television. This is a GREAT blast from the PAST... Thanks for sharing.

Superb Mike.. awesome. A fine tribute to a visionary!. GerrywWould be in good company with Gene Rodenberry.. gave us soo much quality entertainment as a youngster when the only alternative was often lame Hanna-Barbera cartoons!
