Description

I had to give Carrara 8.5 a try, and choose to redo one of my earlier pictures. Based on several Frans Hals pictures and done with Daz originals and a load of freebies. Set up in Carrara 8.5. Some poses were done in Daz Studio Pro 4.5, some in an early version of Poser. All were imported and poses adapted in Carrara. Lights are Carrara lights and textures either the original coming with the characters and objects or generated in Carrara. A few objects are made by me, among those the wine glasses.

Great work, especially because it's based on the work of a Dutch painter (I'm Dutch :-) )

Ralfromgens: I'm only half Dutch. But that is not why I choose Frans Hals as an inspiration. Opposite for instance Rembrandt, Frans Hals paints life. People in joy rather than dull posing. Inspired_Art: The mood is taken from Frans Hals pictures.

Great work. You should try the indirect Lighting settings out in the render tab. The render will take longer, but it is worth it.
