Description
A Warrior returned home, to find what he was fighting for destroyed.
This is my first image using Michael 5 and the DSON importer for Poser. ( I suggest saving your scene file often, just incase Poser crashes ) That is what saved me having to rebuild this entire scene.
Given that Genesis was not intended for poser, I'd say the figure and clothing worked pretty well ( You definately want to read the 5 page DSON .pdf manual, it does a good job of alerting you to what might happen and how to fix it ).
The biggest problem I had with the scene was due to displacement on the ground of stonemason's castle ruins, displacement is great but a real fricking pain to try to place a figure firmly on the displaced ground, lol.
Outside of that, I had fun putting this together, postwork was done in photoshop to enhance things.
Thanks for taking the time to view, comment, rate and favorite my art.

This is a wonderful piece of fantasy, a true and savage warrior ! I really like what you have done with the mane hair, it's a very creative and add a lot to the outfit ... I have used Dson when it was released but I did not go further and I havn't bought V5 nor M5. I understand what you mean about displacement now I have used it ;-)

Looks like a few fellow warriors had done the same thing as their remains litter the ground around him...Better be careful with what he say's as he might soon join them....lol...

KW lol, the skeletons are fallen family members... killed in one of many Orc raids while he was off fighting in the war.

Very powerful image. Really love the POV too!

Very dramatic scene. I had the same problems using Genesis characters in Carrara 8.5 Pro. The Genesis platform is very memory intensive and tends to cause Carrara to freeze up sometimes.
