Description
With the passing of Gerry Anderson a part of my own youth passed away, I have fond memories of the Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Stingray and Space 1999. Well some are not so fond because my mother had a perfect timing when to send my to get some groceries, when Thunderbirds where about to start on the television on wednesday afternoon.
It was still the time that kids in the Netherlands only had kids-television broadcast on wednesday and saturday, an age long before cable and internet. And it showed a wonderous future, some of it came true, other things sadly not.
The room is a classroom (Japanese, what else) that I am working on. The Eagle Transporter, heavens know where I got that one, but it sure was a long time.

Fantastic tribute my friend, i too was brought up by everything Gerry Anderson related, i like so many others have lost one of our childhood and adult hood heroes, R.I.P Gerry.

"OK, so how do we get it outside"?...fittingly surreal..touches of NCIS..Gibbs boat in the basement...I love it.Huge Anderson fan, I can relate.Excellent image and stunning tribute. The classroom model is exquisite in it's detail and texture, with a marvelous blend of light and shade...overall, excellent art...10/10
