Description
Captured 6/26/12 in beautiful Rynerson Park, located at the southern border of beautiful Lakewood, California.
I had to take several shots standing directly under the tower before I got the best composition when looking down at the rotating monitor on my Canon PowerShot SX20. I would have fallen over backwards if I had attempted taking this pic looking straight up. It's hard enough just looking into the sun.
These are the same power lines that run through the towers previously shown on the parking lot of the Walmart store in Long Beach, California.
And I assume I would have been arrested if I had done this in the UK.
Cheerio, and have a nice day on this, the last day of 2012.

Wow, Harry, almost a fractal; what a beautiful geometric layout you captured here. I also would have a bit of trouble looking up like that. I really like the little lens flares too. Wonderful shot! And I hope your new year brings you all that you want and none that you don't.

I'm a bit surprised people can get so close to these, but glad you did....made for an excellent shot.

LOL...You're safe here except for a sore neck from looking straight up :) Happy New Year!

Happy new year, Harry. I don't think you would be arrested just very cut by barbed wire.

Great POV and the symmetry is amazing due to the awkward position you were in.
