Description

Yes, sometimes we are Lucky to get a bit sun. And I took advantage of it and took some shot with the new one. Hope you all came over to 2013 in a good way. We had alot of rain and stormy weather and I saw almost no firework outside, but then came such lovely fireworks on tv, so I took shots of that instead :-) Dont know if it is allowed to share it here though. Thank you so much for your kind comments and fav. :)

Crisp and sharply lovely; I almost like these better when dried than fresh, they make such lovely skeletons. Happy new year to you and yours!

This is the charming, hopeful, sunny side of winter, isn't it? Dried hydrangeas carry the memory of warm August afternoons and the promise of more in the future. Seeing them in the sunshine gives me hope that the winter won't be a long one! Beautiful image. :)

One of the many good things about these great shrubs is their all year round show. Such a pretty sight against that great blue!

My mind did that thing again: the dried skin of the blossoms made me think of pages of a text. Maybe a text that summer wrote and left behind for you to read? I also love the way this makes such a lovely bouquet. Sometimes I think that it's nice to have a bouquet of blossoms/plants that are not alive. There's a particular elegance to dried plant matter, especially with sunlight. So many colors live in "dead" plants. You captured all of that here. It's perfect!

Superb looking are the Hydrangeas, and very special are those kind of spider dreads glowing in the sun, Helle. GREAT!
