Description
Hitomi, the Gremlin, the Gazers and the Black Widow are from DAZ 3D. The scene is lit by the HDRI that also makes the backdrop. The HDRI was treated to give it an Orton Effect. The halo around Hitomi was made directly in Bryce 7.1 Pro. Two renders were necessary but could be done in the main scene.

Thank you for your kind comments. For the Halo, I hid all objects in the scene I didn't want to have a halo, set the HDRI to not be used as backdrop so the backdrop got black as the sky was set, then used a large amount of DOF to blur the remaining Hitomy and increased the light output of the HDRI and rendered. Then, I reset to the scene I has to begin with and added the blurred render on a 2D-face, using transparency, put it behind Hitomy and adjusted the brightness. That gave the final render. Actually, very simple.

I commented on this piece in a different forum, but what I;ve noticed here is that Hitomi is blind in one eye by her hair, adding even more to the sens of danger and fun of the piece.
