Very interesting allegory. Not into Ray that much but he did write some interesting ones.

I've read more than my share of Bradbury. Some of his work is amazing, some is just great fun. This came from the thought that no one has re-made Truffaut's film, since they are remaking everything else (i.e.: Red Dawn, for heaven's sake!). Had to check IMDB for the correct spelling of Truffaut, and it seems there is a new version "in development." Bet it will star Eddie Murphy in all the roles, or be turned into an action-adventure disaster with Mel Gibson.

Oh, and I like the political message as well!

Excellent work!

Thanks, GrandmaT! It's actually the 11th generation of the image. I have the bad habit of saving then renaming the files frequently before making major changes. Eats up the hard drive, and I never have to wish I could go back to an earlier version.

Amazing fire effects here, excellent control of the colors and lighting, amazing piece! Congratulations! Loved the title!

Thanks, mgtcs! The fire coming from the book is actually from the Kenya: China set. I just repurposed it to this image. The effect behind the figure is DA Hero Effects, although I changed some of the material options. The lighting and other effects I have to take the credit for. I did do quite a bit of post work to get it just so in CorelDRAW and onOne Perfect Photo (for the grungy and other layer effects).
