Description
By next Christmas my son should be old enough for me to read him a Christmas story with out him trying to eat the pages. At I hope. So I figured it would be fun to make him his own Christmas book. This is one of the illustrations from it. The elf is Hans Sparklepants (working name for now) He's in charge of inventory at Santa's work shop.
Done in Lightwave 9.6
Everything in this image was modeled and textured by me, except for the Gobbles Characters which were done by my good friend Mark Holmes and myself. These aren't the poser versions of the Gobbles characters. They're the original Lightwave models.

This is a fantastic and loving idea. You have a very luck little boy. This render is nice and crisp and, it reminds me of installations in a children's book for sure. As usual, your modeling is unique and inspiring. I can't wait to see more from this project. This is something special to give to your boy. A Christmas book written and illustrated by his father is something special he can enjoy for years to come. Who knows, maybe one day he can read it to his little boy. Excellent work as always my friend! For the record. I like the name Hans Sparklepants ! It is a fun name and, kids will love it. Keep up the good work!
