Description

Modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in Octane. Just a knot sculpture I did in 3dsmax while bored. Made extensive use of the maxscript plugin, Super Poly Bridge v1.4 to create this object, which had humble beginnings as a rectangle primitive shape. It reminded me of a roller-coaster ride of sorts, thus the inspiration for the title of the image. ;) The background is very simply a NURBS CV surface, with Delaunay surface approximation. The faces were inset, then offset with extrusion, to create a "cracked earth" appearance. Best viewed zoomed in. Thanks for looking.

Could well be a tapeworm on a filmstrip? ... only joking, it's certainly 'a wild and woolly ride' - must get my breath back! stupendous design, BB
