The Winter Equinox is the moment of renewal, when one cycle comes to an end and another one is about to begin. It is when vital energy that was previously accumulated is safely stored so that it can be released unto the World when the Spring Equinox comes around. This theme is the same as in the story of the ant and the grasshopper, particularly regarding the ant's feeling of joy and satisfaction when winter comes and the ant is safely tucked in with enough supplies to comfortably last until next spring. The cold and desolation of winter is not seen as a time of tribulation, but rather as a moment to celebrate the life and happiness that will endure. All of that is what this image conveys to me. Well done!
