My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very beautiful capture of the very strong Hydrangea(sp?)

What a wonderful find! I'm sure that bush must be very confused. I have a blue one that still has one flower, and the rest of the bush is dry and brown, that's a first. Must be the very wet and not terribly cold season so far. Lovely capture!

Oh, I love finding live blossoms in winter. There were a few pansies braving December in Chicago. They've since been...removed, but I think someone dug them up, transplanted them, and...who knows what! This is such a gorgeous surprise! I love the color. The leaf with the browned tip is a wonderful surprise. It's such a well-dressed leaf.

Nature never gives up. What a great surprise and a lovely color. My friend in Auburn told me a few days ago that it was down to 27 degrees.
