Description

Warriors of the Late Mycenaean period. The helmet on the left is adorned with boar's teeth, and the hatchet (called Epsilon because of the similarity with the Greek letter "E") have both been found in excavations. It is believed that the legendary heroes of the Iliad were dressed accordingly.
